Petzengarten and his history2004 the senior owner Wolfgang Göschel gives the Petzengarten to his children Kurt Göschel and Jutta Lindner. 1998 1th April, Petzengarten celebrates "100 year possesion of the family Göschel". 1996 the child's, Kurt Göschel und Jutta Lindner (maiden family name Göschel), became partner of the business. 1982 February 4th opened of the hotel. 1976 expansion of the restaurant. 1974 January 1st Wolfgang Göschel takes over the business. 1957 additional land was bought from the forestry and exchanging with the city of Nuremberg the property amounts now 1.829 m². 1950/ then the beer garden and the halls, garages and the flat added 1949 Christof Göschel ran the beer sales until the business was when taken of on June 2nd by Wilhelm Göschel. 1944 on September 10th totally destroyed. 1944 March heavy war damages then rebuilt. 1942 August small bomb-damages. 1936 to allow the Wilhelm-Spaeth-Straße to be built, the restaurant had to be altered. 1898 In April the three Göschel brothers bought “Petzengarten” for 50.000,00 Mks. On August 10th the butcher Christof Göschel taken the restaurant, which then became his sole property. 1896/ host Ottmar Stützer 1898 1896 to the gold plating manufacturer Bauer then transfered to the host Justin Uschold. 1891 the business was run until it was compulsory sold for 35.000,00 Mk. 1889 when the widow of Christian Petz died, the daughter Helene Petz “Petzenlena” ran the business until her marriage with Johann Holzhey in the year of 1844 the blacksmith Christian Petz purchased the property for 2425 Gulden. As present landowner of the “Forsthof” he finaly recieved. 1836 the state sold property no. “Forsthof No. 31” (0,333 hectare) for 1276 fl. (Gulden) to the chemist Fleischauer from Nuremberg 1719 built as a „forester and canal masters flat“ in the Obermeil area |
